Refund Policy

Hugo Memory starts with a 7-day free trial. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you won’t be charged at all.

If you’re charged and Hugo isn’t right for you, ask for a refund within 7 days of that charge and we’ll refund it in full. This applies to both monthly and yearly plans, including renewals.

Email help@thehugoai.com from the email address on your Hugo account, and tell us roughly when you were charged. You don’t need to give a reason — though we’d love to hear what we could do better.

We process refunds within 5 business days of your request. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, and the money goes back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card, it can take another 5–10 business days to show up.

Your plan returns to Hugo Free. Everything you’ve saved stays in your account, and ambient memory on your Mac is not deleted.

Charges older than 7 days aren’t refunded, but you can cancel any time from the app — your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.

If something went wrong on our side — a double charge, or Hugo not working as described — write to us and we’ll make it right, whenever it happened.
