Hugo is provided by Yeswanth Choudari, an individual developer. By downloading Hugo, creating an account or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Hugo.

You need a Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 14 or later, and a Google account to sign in.

You’re responsible for your account and for what happens in it. Keep your Google account secure, and tell us at help@thehugoai.com if you think someone else has accessed it.

Hugo Free costs nothing. Hugo Memory is a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly, and starts with a 7-day free trial. You won’t be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the app; your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Prices may change — we’ll tell you before a change affects you.

If Hugo isn’t right for you, you can get a full refund within 7 days of any charge — see our Refund Policy.

Everything you save or that Hugo remembers for you stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only so Hugo can work for you — for example, to sync your saves or generate an answer.

Please don’t use Hugo to break the law, to access other people’s data without permission, or to try to reverse-engineer, overload or disrupt the service.

Hugo uses AI models to understand context and answer questions. AI can be wrong. Check anything important before relying on it.

Hugo is growing, and features may change, pause or be removed. Features marked “coming soon” (such as Hugo Act) are not guaranteed.

We may update these terms; if the change is significant we’ll let you know before it takes effect.

You can stop using Hugo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Hugo is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
